The Tourbillon II

Aurelia Horology & THC

Introduction

The Tourbillon II brings together technical depth, hand-finished craftsmanship and refined proportions in a watch conceived for collectors who value substance over spectacle. Developed in collaboration with The Horology Club Europe, it reflects an Austrian approach to watchmaking where precision, rhythm and quiet elegance naturally converge.

The Tourbillon II dial and movement

The Dial

Symphony No. 2

The asymmetric dial is crafted from untreated German silver and hand engraved with Aurelia’s signature cross-hatch pattern before the logo itself is engraved directly into the surface.

Its natural character evolves subtly with the light, celebrating the quiet beauty of traditional craftsmanship while creating depth, texture and visual rhythm.

The Case

A New Perspective

Designed around balanced proportions and everyday wearability, the 38.8 mm stainless-steel case combines brushed and polished surfaces, each finished by hand.

Its defining feature is the lateral sapphire opening, offering an entirely new perspective on the movement and revealing the mechanics as an integral part of the experience rather than something hidden beneath the dial.

A second movement — a tourbillon reinterpreted through an Austrian sensibility, where rhythm, architecture and craftsmanship are composed into a single mechanical expression.

The Movement

Engineered in the Open

The movement has been conceived not simply as the engine of the watch, but as its visual centrepiece.

A cylindrical hairspring, bowl-shaped balance and tourbillon define its technical identity, while the open architecture allows every hand-finished detail to remain fully visible.

German-silver bridges, traditional grained finishing, hand-applied anglage, solid-gold chatons, black-polished screws and Aurelia’s signature Halo Ratchet System express a movement designed to be admired as much as it is engineered.

The Tourbillon II digital product passport

Digital Passport

A Digital Legacy

Each of the twelve pieces carries a Digital Product Passport, developed with Tappr — a record that stays with the watch for as long as the watch exists.

Where the collector book records the origins of the watch, the passport continues the account: the exact materials and components of the Tourbillon II, the workshop that finished them, every service performed over time, and the succession of owners who care for it.

A foundation of trust for everyone involved.

The Collaboration

The Horology Club Europe

The Horology Club Europe is a newly established chapter for serious collectors, comprising over 250 members across the region. Founded by collectors, for collectors, the club is built on three principles: to gather, to educate, and to create — curated events, considered discussion of watchmaking, and limited editions produced with makers we admire, reserved for members.
